I’ve had some issues with tachycardia after thyroidectomy and was sent to see a cardiologist after blood tests came back okay. On Monday I had 24 hour ecg and then yesterday had a call from echo office saying could I come in for echo today as doctor wanted to get me bumped up the list. Would this be due to results of 24 hour or coincidence? Feeling a bit worried now any advice appreciated.
Thank you

Hello and welcome to the forum! Tachycardia has many causes and I suspect it showed up on the 24 hour monitor. Whilst it would be easy to say it is due to thyroid issues it would be unprofessional to jump to this conclusion. It sounds as if they are doing the right things and you have no need to worry.
The usual tests when there is the first hint of heart trouble are 1/ bloods 2/ ECG, then 24 Holter 3/ Sometimes 24 hour blood pressure check 4/ Echo.
As was said above, tachycardia has many causes, and most times it is banal.
Sounds like they are doing their job and doing you a favour by doing it promptly.
Meantime you can help them by keeping a diary of the tachycardia, when it starts, what you were doing, your state of nervousness/fatigue, meals (yes, for some people it comes AFTER a meal), how long it lasts, and the speed of it (this varies, even for one individual because sometimes there can be more than one type/cause in an individual). You can also try slow deep breathing and the valsalva maneuver.
Hello,I`m worried that I might have thyroid issues on top of all my other problems. Was yours hypo or hyper and would you be so kind as to tell me the symptoms hopefully to allay my fears.Thank you.
