Hi I’ve just joined the community, I’m a 51 year old woman, I had a scan of my heart in October 2017, they said it was slightly fured, I have to wait until October 2019 to have another scan. I have high blood pressure, but it fluctuates on a regular basis, last week I went for a walk, I became really dizzy after 5 minutes and at to ring my daughter to pick me up, That afternoon my left eye started to hurt, the next morning it was really red sore and swollen, The GP first said I had a eye hemmarage due to my high blood pressure, but when he see I started panicking, he said it was an infection, I don’t know what to think.
Any ideas??

As of all things, you should not panic and take the advice of your GP. It may be an infection and the two cases may not be related. Red Eye infection may not be hemorrhage and can be cured with eye drops it may take up to 72 hours to see improvements.
