Sorry I am unclear as to what sort of device. Earlier today you referred to an ICD. However if you are talking about 'pumping' it could be a VAD (ventricular assist device). These are fitted via OHS (open heart surgery) to assist the heart where someone is awaiting a transplant, a transplant is unsuitable because of other medical conditions or where the heart needs temporary assistance to recover. If you are unclear take someone with you to your next appointment, prepare a list of questions and note the answers. Good luck!

Oh yes I am having a icd devise they going to see about transplant, yes I will take someone with me so I’m clear on what’s happening, thank you
