Hi I’m 22 years old and I went to the ER recently because I thought I was having a heart attack. They drew blood and did an EKG and took x-rays. I was diagnosed with an Incomplete Right Bundle-Branch Block and the doctor kept saying it could be of a “normal variant”. I haven’t gone to get it more thoroughly checked out by the doctor she referred me to yet. I just wanted to know if anyone is out there with the same thing and whatever experience they have with it? Some side notes, I did abuse adderall a few years ago and I did drink for a while until stopping as well. I sometimes wonder if I had accidentally messed with the way my heart beats or if it’s something that could progress into something serious. Just wanted to hear some thoughts on that kind of thing if possible

22 diagnosed with IRBBB?
I am sorry, I have nothing to give you on the subject. Please contact the BHF nurse by phone or email as they are very knowledgeable. You are not alone, and do not blame yourself for past acts. It does not help with future recovery. We have all made decisions that were not the best for our health. Thinking of you and wishing you the best for Christmas.
If you are a women please pursue your heart challenges. I had all the stuff you had done and was told I was ok and sent home from emergency 3x over the year. I was told I was ok and my heart was fine. Ha ha.
Then I had another chest pain and went to emergency again and had the heart attack right in the emergency ward. Good thing I was there because I had a 95% blockage on my left main. I would not have lived if I took the ambulance to the hospital.
Listen to your body and ask for MRI.
