not sure of symptoms

Hi all

a new person here, so apologies if my questions are obvious.

The other day I had a really weird feeling above my rib cage, sort of felt like heartburn/wind but it definitely wasn't that, at the same time my jaw & behind my ears also had a weird feeling like tension but I cant say that describes it properly. It was minimally painful but more so really uncomfortable.

I then happened to read a new novel last night and in the first pages it described exactly the above.. should I get checked or is it just artistic licence on the content.

Hello and welcome to the forum! I doubt the novel is using artistic licence. You should go to your GP as it may be angina. They can then do the basic checks and take it from there. If the pain returns and is persistent or worse ring 999. You will not be wasting their time
