can you post a link please, would be much appreciated
Hi I had a look at them yest, and I seen they recommended cardiac rehab, I was never offered this, I have dilated cardiomyopathy and heart failure, I was just wondering if anyone else with heart failure had done it and if it was beneficial to them ta char xx
I am in the middle of cardiac rehab at the moment after a triple bypass & there are a few people I’ve talked to at the gym who have heart failure. I live on the Wirral & here Cardiac Rehab is twice a week for 12 weeks but I know in other parts of the country the length of Cardiac Rehab courses vary from none existent to 12 weeks or longer. It would be worth you enquiring in your area.

Hi I live in Scotland, mabe they don't do it up here for heart failure, I have heard of people that have had heart attacks being offered it, or mabe I just got forgotten about! I am at the heart failure clinic soon, I will mention it to them x
A much more comprehensive approach to heart complaints. to me these new heart information sheets, call them as you will? seem to be based more around facts rather than supasition, perhaps Cardiology is coming of age? As long as they continue and keep linking other similar or off spring disease to this then l congratulate the approach, well done NICE
Cardio rehab is an excellent way of building up your confidence both mentally and physically. I attend an 8 week course and it allows you to build up your stamina in a controlled and monitored environment. Plus the staff can help you understand what your body is going through and in most cases answer any questions you may have. I would advise you to enquire about the classes. I’m in NI. Good luck.
