Ive got a scan coming up after my HA and whilst i can see that it is a procedure that will allow drs the ability to see how my heart is performing , i cant quite see how it will help them sort things if there is anything that is wrong . As you can see I'm feeling a bit negative - apologies

Its not unusual to feel a bit negative but you have already said why they are doing the scan - to find out more. I don't know the procedure that they are using but rest assured they do these for a reason and anything they can find out will only help them target the treatment for you. Its just something you sort of get used to (or perhaps you just grow to accept). The one thing you should try and do is ask as many questions as you can and want answers to. Its hard to remember these at the time so jot them down when they occur to you and take that list with you next time you go in.

Yes agree with all of the above

I may be wrong, but it sounds like you may have a procedure called an angiagram or an MRI

If it is an angiagram, they will be looking for blocked arteries.

If yours is only partially blocked it will probs just be meds.

But if they are quite a high percentage blocked, you'll probably have a stent or two.

The stent opens up the artery to enable easy flow of blood around the body.

I hope you start to feel better soon. Take care now, Jo 😊
