Hi I had a triple bypass 6 months ago , slowly but surely getting there .

I noticed today that I am looking very puffy and my knees and ankles are swollen , has anybody else had this problem ??

Yes here and there.

You may just need a blood pressure check. But it could be a number of things that is causing it. Have you got a rash at all. Have you changed your diet.

Hi Bitez,

I think you should just get it checked out. Doesn't cost anything and there is no harm in checking is there.

While you are waiting for your appointment I would do light exercise like short walks little and often. Pottering around the house etc. Then elevate where possible.

Keeping hydrated is a must, but make sure you sip the water as your body retains more thay way. If you just gulp it, most of it will just flush back out.

Try to keep your body temperature balanced, not too hot, or too cold.

Have you still got your socks? Maybe ware them for a bit.

Make that appointment, you are better off getting a professional to take a look.

I must admit though , I am guilty of not drinking enough . Will make an effort to sip a lot more .
