Hello, does anybody have any thoughts on this. I had a heart attack followed by very scary bradycardia eight weeks ago. A week last Saturday after singing with my choir I got sharp pains in my chest which I reported to the hospital. After examination I was told they were settling pains after the stent. I came away thinking any re-run of heart problems would always have the same feelings I experienced at the heart attack. When I mentioned this at the recovery clinic the nurse did not agree, leaving me once again worried about every pain and discomfort I might feel in my torso.

Are you having any anti-angina medication (tablets or GTN spray)? This BHF article may b e useful to you:- bhf.org.uk/heart-matters-ma... It may also be worth discussing your concerns with your GP.

Michael, thanks for your thoughts and particularly the link. Yes I have the spray but would only use it if I felt ill. Another dilemma pain on a scale 0 to 10? One person's pain it seems can be another's discomfort.

As you say best to draw up a list and discuss with GP.
