Firstly, thanks for all my replies, it seems a mixed response regarding Ramipril....anyway, I'm informed that a black furry tongue is a lesser known side effect of the penicillin !.....I suppose the fact I've been prescribed the basic round chalky tablets without enteric coating might well account for it. I shall try to grin & bear it for the rest of the dose but currently it's difficult to tell where sore tongue ends & original sore throat begins !. The Sjogrens Syndrome & general lack of mucous membranes certainly complicate things.......All going well with the half dose Bisoprolol anyroad.....
