Hi Chris,

Was just wondering if you could answer my question of, is there a connection between tinnitus & arivmia.

Seen Gp today, well mean yesterday now as it's 03: in the early hours because I can't sleep again.

She has suggested I go to cardiac drop in today, as I haven't been feeling well for a few weeks. But last few days have been horendose. And I've had a few incidents of suckling air tyen Tuesday evening I felt like I had fainted for a tiny second, I'm sure l didn't though, as I was just sitting up at my desk in exactly the same position. My desk is at home, so I was on my own, but I am sure I didn't.

The thing is, where the tinnitus is so bad at the moment & it is the wooshy heartbeat sound most of the time. I'm not sure if it's that pulsating in the rest of my body. Or if it is the arivmia coming back. My Gp thinks it could be the arivmia again.

And like I said, I wounder if there is a connection betten the two?

Hope you understand what my question is, regards Jo :)

No nether, oh well.

Not to worry, I saw my Gp today & she has surgested I go to the cardiac drop in 2moz.

I have also booked up to see a councillor as I feel I could use some support with knowing how not to take on all my family's issue & alow myself to get stressed over it.

I desided to do it after ccoming on here. Seeing how much better one feels after sharing:)

Sharing is good does help

Hi Jo - sorry to hear about your tinnitus. People get all sorts of symptoms when they have abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias) and tinnitus is certainly known to be one of them. I hope your appointment goes well and it's great that you're having some counselling too.

Take care, Chris

Thanks Chris,

Yes I think that it has been more of a pulsating feeling all over body due to tinnitus at the moment, rather than arivmia issues. But at the time, it's hard to tell.

I did ask the nurse yesterday coild they be conected? She said I am a cardiac nurse, I don't know anything about tinnitus. I only deal with cardiac issues.

She does fell it could be stress anxiety. What with tinnitus & lack of sleep.

She said my blood pressure is a little on the high side.

But she thinks some of the high readings I have taken through the early hours, the last couple on nights is, poticually high because I am tired & anxious due to it being middle of the night. And I don't take my blood pressure as a rule.

So it all sounds good. Stop worrying about everyone's problems & may everything will settle down:)
