Yes that looks like psoriasis. It is a big area on her cheek.
Get a referral to dermatology? Has she had this before? Dermol lotion is good to moisturise and soothe skin. Wouldn't put any soap, shower gel or make up on...🌼

Yes it is a good moisturiser. Expensive to buy repeatedly. Good to get added to your prescription. Don't know if anything short term caused it? I would just use plain warm water to wash face and put some Dermol or a small drop of E45 cream on it if you're looking for a less pricey cream.
