is it valid to go to the GP for suspected thrush right now? i dont want to put myself or my family at risk but because im transgender, constant hyperawareness of my downstairs is putting me in a very uncomfortable spot. plus its annoying anyway with the itchyness and soreness lol. im 16

Dear shadhhog,
Have you thought of going to the local chemist (Boots, Superdrug, etc) instead? Pharmacists are trained in diagnosing common conditions like thrush; if you're not too keen to discuss your symptoms with them you can always buy the treatment online (including from Amazon).
