i had the coil fitted about 4 months ago, but in the last few weeks i have been bleeding nearly every time i have intercourse, any ideas??

This may be nothing to worry and settles with time but I suggest you visiting sexual health clinic, We need more information and examination before we can reassure you. We need to know about your past cervical smear test results depending on how old you are and also we need to look at the neck of womb . This bleeding may not be associated with coil at all. I suggest you attend the clinic for examination so that clinician can reassure you after examination.

Hi, I have a second merina coil and have bleeding during intercourse sometimes would also like an answer to this, its very embarrassing and lots of bedclothes washing. I have visited the doctor on many occasions regarding the problem, but all examinations internal and scans show nothing, is it my age? should I try another form of contraception? Is my partner too big? Any help and advice please.
