Can Microgynon 30 be prescribed for anything other than as a contraceptive ?

Microgynon is sometimes used to regulate and lighten periods, but will still have a contraceptive effect.

The oral contraceptive pill as the greenhouse says can be used to help with heavy or irregular periods.

Microgynon is also used if you are having problems with acne as it can lessen symptoms.
