Fit bit info when in asthma flare up

Wondered if anyone else noticed odd things with fit bit/ other similar watch info when in an asthma flare up/attack. Two weeks ago had a flare up, asthma symptoms lasted about a day and half, which is fairly short for me and managed to get on top of it with reliever and steroid inhaler. During that time though fit bit recorded heart rate of 150, a resting heart rate of 88 over the course of the first day and it also said that I had been exercising for 15 hours. It did also record that I was sleeping most of the day too! I’ve noticed fast heart rate and high activity level before, but never such a contradiction. High heart rate may also explain why so fatigued. My watch also monitors oxygen levels when sleeping, and have noticed high variations during the night. Just wondered what experiences/things others may have noticed when wearing a fit bit/ other similar watch and in an asthma attack/ flare up?

O2 levels do vary in sleep anyway and are maybe more likely to do so if flaring - but definitely not an always thing or in all people.

The heart rate, yes! High heart rate in more acute asthma is a thing. Despite 99% of docs saying 99% of the time it's the ventolin doing it, it's not always.

But maybe give your GP a call to discuss your observations?
