Hello

I am new to the Asthma UK forum.

I was diagnosed with asthma when I was around 6 years old I was told that I would outgrow it which I did. I then had no asthma symptoms for several years then I was told it had come back in October 2015.

Since then I have been taking only a blue reliever inhaler when I have needed it. I haven't been taking a brown preventer inhaler.

I got engaged last year and when my fiancé saw me have an asthma attack for the first time it scared him a little bit because of the fact that he didn't know how to help me. Luckily I showed him how to help me through the St Johns Ambulance first aid app that I have on my phone.

Having such a wonderful fiancé is great for me because he is a real help to me and when I have an asthma attack when I am with him he knows how to help me to recover. He is very sweet and he is an absolute diamond. I couldn't imagine my life without him and he always looks after me well following an asthma attack. He recently asked me to live with him so I am looking forward to that.
