I didn't use my preventer yesterday...

Yesterday I had a really bad sickness bug and felt so rubbish that I completely forgot to use my preventer in the morning and then I slept all,afternoon,and evening. I did spend the whole day feeling too sorry for myself to think about asthma since I had to miss my last day of sixth form and my prom

This morning I did use the preventer, the maximum amount I can take, but my chest still hurts and I'm sob. My relieverisn't helping all that much. This is the first time I've not taken it and I just wondered if it was normal to feel this way and how I can make it go away. I do also feel dizzy but I think that's more to do with losing a stone in weight in one day!

awww rachel i can sympathise - a few weeks ago i was really ill with a sickness bug too and i also didn't take my preventer for 2 days. Thankfully i didn't suffer for it

Not sure i can offer any particular advice with your current asthma symptoms but thought i'd offer you some sympathy and virtual hugs
