Hello everyone!

It has come to my attention that there's a slight issue with the private messaging system on the new board.

When you send someone a PM, they receive an email to tell them there is a message for them, just as they did on the old board.

However, that email will contain the email address of the person that sent the PM. In other words, if you send someone a private message, the board will share your email address with that person, whether you want it to or not!

Therefore, for the time being, please be aware that if you send a PM, you will also be sharing your email address with the recipient of that PM. If you're okay with this (you may have already shared your email address with certain members of the forum, for example) then you don't need to worry, but if you'd rather not be sharing your email address with other users, please refrain from using the private messaging system for the time being.

I will update this thread when this problem has been resolved.
