I am interested to know, but does anyone, bar myself seem to suffer worse when the humidity rate is up to 100%, such as now. Noticed a few people moaning about there breathing today, so i just checked the local weather and most of the uk is 100% humidity. Not good and not looking forward to summer either. Any advice welcome.

I find damp wet air does aggravate my chest!

I think its to do with mould spores etc being around more when its damp!

Cold and dry sets me off, I much prefer warm and wet. But then my asthma is triggered by irritants not allergens.

Hi,

The humidity effects me badly as well I'm from Australia, & now are in Autumn not looking forward to winter.

I hate the humidity when the air is so still hard to breath then at that time.

Cheers

looking forward to the snow returning. so much nicer than the pollen filled summer.

Mini heat wave is forecast for this week lol

HUMIDITY

YES I AGREE, WHEN ITS A LOWER READING MY ASTHMA IS A LOT BETTER. MUST PREPARE FOR THE SUMMER WITH SOME GOOD FANS AND DEHUMIDIFIERS. TAKE CARE EVERYBODY.

me to

i get very breathless when the humidity is high

humidity does affect me, but I think that this is due to the mould. Really hot steam sets me off too. Very cold and dry (like it is here) seems to be the worst for me though. Take care everybody

Try a large DIY company with black letters on an orange back ground.

They should have some.

It will only really work if you keep windows & doors closed otherwise it will use a lot of electricity dehumidifying the humidified air that comes in the house.

I use mine autumn to early spring to keep the damp down in my flat mainly.
