I'm trying to keep track of all my messages in my personal message box and would like to do a bit of tidying up. Obviously, as I am sure, most of you will appreciate, it gets harder and harder to keep track of everything with every single message kept.

I would like to delete some messages from my box, but can only do so with those in the Inbox. Is there a way that I am missing to delete copies of messages in Sentbox too?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Alan

No you are not missing something - there is at present, no delete facility for the sent messages - my sent boxx is huge!

Pester the Web ed sometime about it.

Kate

No pestering is required. It is a security feature of the message board that you are not able to delete sent messages.

This is so there is always a log of PMs available if we need to moderate against any naughtiness that has taken place via PM rather than in public.

You'll just have to learn to live with it, I'm afraid!

Thanks Steve.

Reason understood. I will just have to be satisfied with the thought that Kate's box is even worse than mine, as I have been around for a much shorter time. I will just have to setup a complementary tracking system before it gets too unmanageable.

Aaaah, that explains it.

Sorry Steve, I didn't realise that was why messages were kept - makes sence now!
