Try medicalert.co.uk

they are the official medic Alert organisation - a world recognised one as well.

cost start from £19.95 and £20 membership - the emblems are engraved and they hold your data on file so that medical peeps around the world can get instant access to your medical information and medications.

They are worth it.

I think the Rotary Club helps fund Medicalert jewellery in certain circumstances. MIght be worth asking the Medic Alert Foundation for more info about this.

If you want to take a good form of medical id with you to NZ (for free) you can fill out your details on doctorbabel website and print off your own 'id card'. I took one on holiday with me and it was really useful.

Medic Alert as a charity will sponsor ALL FEE's and stuff for people in certain circumstances !!

I know that as they sponsor mine - I pay nothing !!

It is only the basic stainless steel emblems they sponsor but it whats on it that matters !!

Go to the website look at the application form and there is a phone number in a box on the form to ring if you want to speak to them about sponsorship (full/part) !!
