Not being aware of my own wheezing.

Hi

I don't know if this is common with people but I seem to no longer aware of my wheezing, and other people point it out, it is as if I have just got used to living with the uncontrolled asthma symptoms and don't notice as much. My hearing is fine so I know it's not that. I've had a real struggle with the lungs recently so am not sure if I am just getting used to hearing it so don't notice, like when you don't notice the noise of electrical equipment buzzing.

I would just be curious to know if other people experience this.

I am having to now rely on other asthma symptoms such as the shortness of breath etc, which is ok.

I had thought that my asthma was becoming of the no wheeze type that many of you guys struggle to get recognised by some health professionals, until I spoke to my other half about it and she said she still hears me wheezing still I(she's going to tell me when it gets loud and i don't seem to be aware of it.)

Thanks
