30% Drop in Peak Flow?

I'm currently running a peak flow which is 30% below my 'normal' level. I'm not sure if this is something to be concerned about? I don't feel particularly unwell just a little short of breath. Is it normal to have a fluctuation of 30% or is this is big drop?

Thanks

30% drop is quite high, if my son drops that much I take him to the doctor or at least speak to the duty doctor. You ought to get it checked in case it gets worse.

30% Peak Flow drop

Yes, this is a large drop. You should either start or double up your steroid inhaler, and probably make an appointment to see your asth,a nurse or GP too.

Thanks both of you. I'm not getting any worse but my peak flow hasn't improved yet so I will make an appointment. I'm already taking the max dose of Symbicort I think (400/12 two clicks twice daily) and singulair so I'm simply using ventolin to help.
