Heard a lot of talk on how good it was but not on the list for what doctors can give you was the end of it really when the dust settled down not here even for trials .

I have heard that is it is supposed to be very good, but not heard of any specifics or from anyone who has tried it themselves. My boss in work who is a pharmacist, her dad has recently been diagnosed with bone cancer and having had it recommended as part of his treatment plan, she went to the actual place where it is manufactured to enquire further. She was happy with what she has learnt etc and so he has started it. Fingers crossed.

Hi Gladys1971

Thalidomide is licenced for use in patients with a specific type of cancer called Multiple Myeloma.

In the USA a trial looking at the use of Thalidomide in patients with IPF and chronic cough has been completed but the results do not appear to have been released yet.

The following link has informatin on this sepcific trial -
