Hello maxer, she's Sweetthing12 now - she left a comment on carer999's post yesterday. Best wishes, George.

Thanks George,

Hi Maxer, I am here, had problems logging in, so had to close my account with BLF and re-register under another email address and user-name, but even though I had closed the account it would not let me re-register with my old details, don't know why, but here I am.

Hope you are okay, we are fine, grumpy is still grumpy, he's got a stairlift now, wish it was rocket propelled then it would shoot him through the landing window.

I have told him if he doesn't stop moaning, I will stop the damned thing half way up then he can't get up or down.

Thank you for asking about me, you're very kind.

Good Morning Sweething

Having just had a coughing fit I read your comments, and I had to laugh another coughing fit followed, I just got a mental picture of some one sitting half way up the stairs in a stairlift and "Kermit The Frog's" song can into mind, I''m not at the bottom, and I'm not at the top etc.

Thanks for making me smile on a snowy cold day.

Take Care

Leaving him halfway up sounds like a god idea lol

This morning he got his jumper sleeve caught round the operating switch on the chair-lifts arm-rest and when he got to the bottom and was undoing the seat belt his sleeve pulled the switch and it shot him straight back up again, all he could shout was, what have you done, what have you done, I am going up again. I could not do anything for laughing and he was not amused. He still blames me for not making sure he was sat on the chair properly.
