My nebuliser is on loan from the hospital. It gets serviced every year. I just get the presciption for the nebules from gp. Ask about this before buying one.

best wishes

ingrid.

Hi lanefacr

Generally when a consultant/GP advises the use of a nebuliser the patient has to buy it, or as ingy says some hospitals may be able to loan a nebuliser but we don't really haer of them funded directly by the NHS.

We do have a nebuliser supplier list we can send you - you can call us on 03000 030 555.

Best Wishes

Jo

My nebulisr machine is on loan from the hopsital too, and serviced by them when I go for my annual review. I have, however, bought a portable nebuliser myself for use when I'm out for the day.

i think it some times depends where you live ! as i got my mine from my surgery ,i live in scotland,,,maybey different up here ,,,,lol

My husbands Nebuliser was loaned to him by the hospital for a month when he was discharged but our physio asked them to leave it with us permanently so now the hospital services it once a year and provides extra masks for it and we get the nebules from our GP on repeat prescription.
