I often have a look at the monthly forecast - bbc.co.uk/weather/2635167#o... - updated every Monday
The current headlines are:
Monday 11 February—Sunday 17 February
A cold and wintry start, becoming less cold later
Monday 18 February—Sunday 24 February
Drying up for most, but gradually turning chillier
Monday 25 February—Sunday 10 March
No sign of any milder weather
There's more detailed information under the headlines if you want to read it all. It looks like making the best of the sun and milder conditions today, it's going to cool down again over the weekend.
Oh dear Gordon , And there was me starting to feel all optomistic ,
Doh!
It's the crocuses I feel sorry for, popping their little heads out of the ground and heading for such disappointment...
I didn't do the forecast...
Really Gordon, there we all were getting our hopes up and in one little follow up reply - gone. And I was about to come out of hibernation.

We need to swap with somewhere else...
How about Miami ? - bbc.co.uk/weather/4164138
Dont fancy Miami, I prefer this country on a lovely day, doing s/c driving around as we used to do. Dream on!! Keen ex-gardener - see jobs to be done and cant. I love all the signs of spring. Snowdrops at Anglesey Abbey? The NT do lend buggies free, as they in most shopping centres. With it goes free parking.
Gordon, me again. Why cant I get UK English spell check. I get pulled for spelling neighbours with an 'u' Bye from Annie x
I can only tell you for Google Chrome, as that's what I use:
Go to the top right and click on the three bars icon, to customise, then choose Settings on the menu
Scroll down to the bottom and click on '+ Show advanced settings'
Scroll down to Languages and click the spellchecker button
Make sure you're set up for English (United Kingdom)
Thanks, Gordon. Found it. My sister may be Americcan but I am not!!
Spring did arrive this morning after the frost cleared
Did you know though, spring is now only one day, back to winter tomorrow

Sat out in the sun today - enjoyed it while it shone without spoiling it by thinking about the future forecast - I'm a 'seaweed' type of person - if it feels dry and warm - it is. No good in thinking about tomorrow today cos that is a day away !!!!!!!!! (Think I've got a touch of sun-stroke!!) Remember the ditty :- Spring is here the grass is ris I wonder where the birdies is?
No not my work, came from my father-in-law, he was always full of fun.
