Labrrinthitis

I have had labyrinth iris for bout 3wks ,dizziness is going but still don't feel well and I still ave headaches,I'm really fed up,is ther any self help thing that may improve how I feel?

Hi Meg - try calling the Meniere's Society Helpline on 0845 120 2975. They are an organisation which supports people with any kind of dizziness or balance problems (I have Meniere's, you DON'T want that !). I am sure they will be able to help. Good luck.

Awe you poor thing Meg. It is so scarey. Has one of you GPs got a special interest in ENT do you know. Might be the best place to get advice, especially if you are still getting headaches. Gentle hugs.

I too have inner ear problems diagnosed by my GP.I was often dizzy and had a few serious falls.Since GP prescribed Betahistine 3 times a day things have really improved.So ask your GP for advice.Good Luck

Hi Meg,

I too have Labyrinthitis and have had it on and off for about a year. I was prescribed Buccastan which helped me. I still get giddy spells and have lost my balance several times. Ask your G.P about medication for the giddiness you are getting. It's not nice getting them and can be scary if in places you don't know very well. Good luck hun.
