Thanks kimmy59 really interesting I'm sure gps must abhor the daily mail - their health pages can be rivetting and I quite often request a prescription for things, not always successfully after reading them. Tried to google retinoic acid and nearly fell into the trap of buying anti-wrinkle cream which contains this so came straight back to the forum, have contributed some of my pension to suchlike before but then there's a fool born every minute. The eggs and milk although it seems containing very small amounts of the vitamin a seem a better prospect. Thanks again so many possibilities for cure or relief but don't see them being handed out soon. Still we live in hope!

For the technical chemists here. I found this interesting. I read this but skipped over the more technical bits but the main outcome of the treatment can be understood.

Interesting -thanks kim didn't see any previous post like Libby and sylb.x
Thanks Kimmy, it just goes to show there is always hope. I just feel there has to be a cure out there somewhere so ignore any negativity. I know that Pete tries to keep a positive mental attitude and that's what gets him through. He has the bronchitis part of copd and sarc. but he just keeps on going and long may he continue. Take care everyone. xxx
Has to be Vit D news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/... the level of Vit A needed for any thing to work would be toxic. Vit D is well proved over a lot of years (holiday in the sun needed) but it is good to share
