who knows what a NM LUNG SPECT is ??!! i think it may be like a c-t scan ?

It is a type of scan that comes under the heading of 'Nuclear Medicine' - hence the 'NM' of your title above. I believe it is used in cases where there is a mismatch between ventilation and perfusion, to check for - or eliminate - the possibility of a Pumonary Embolus. I am sure if you 'google' it you will find plenty of info, or if you are booked for one and would like someone to chat to about it for reassurance then do give the BLF nurses a ring.
