that is so beautiful and uplifting. Thank you for sharing and bringing some brightness to what feels like a winters day here. There just hasn’t been any summer here and it’s getting demoralising. It’s so cold and wet, and incredibly windy. Almost 50mph today. The ferry’s cancelled and nothing until next week ☹️ I’ll cheer myself up by looking at your beautiful photo! ☀️

They would like wellies I’m sure. Foot diseases are a real problem here because sheep continually have wet feet.
Poor sheep. It's the sort of problem we townies know about from the Archers.
On a positive note (and with apologies to Blackbird for hijacking her post) the ferry came today, having not come for 7 days. The boat brings everything including the mail. I’d ordered something ages ago for my mum who also lives here not far from me, and it finally arrived today, so I took it to her earlier 😊 Thankfully I’d bought my sheep’s food and it came a couple of weeks ago. They would not have been happy otherwise! 😅
What a beautiful photo, the field of Heather must smell wonderful, I lost my smell years ago after a sinus infection and really miss being able to smell things like flowers, although I have just cut my Heather for bagging as its died early. The tree looks like it is winking lol x
