What happened to Don's post?

I logged on to the site and saw Don had a post "Giving a helping hand" and it had 19 replies but when I tried to open it, it said this post has been removed. Does anyone know why?

Goodness gracious me! That hasn’t happened to me for donkeys years, if ever! I must havre broken the rules in some way. This thread may also disappear just like in the communist countries. ☹️

I’m not complaining.It might have been because of what someone else said. I was brought up in the days of the lovely Mrs Mummy who ran a very tight ship. We will never know, that’s also in the rules. ❤️❤️

It has to do with where I live and have lived all my life. It's headlined in all the newspapers world wide but must not be mentioned here because it involves both religion and politics which are banned subjects here. Very distressing.

Ah, I see. I can only imagine the distress this is causing, but an awful, awful thing to happen.

It’s a sad world Don, so many dreadful things happening. I feel for those who are suffering. But as you say, try to keep smiling, we can’t change things and you will only make yourself miserable.

I did not see the post Donald but in all truth, I can't see you intentionally posting anything with the intent to upset anyone.

I you did break a rule, your post was deleted. not the end the of the world Donald - rise above it, come back stronger and proof read your posts.

Your earlier mentioned Mrs Mummy, well she was missed, if you pack it in Donald, you would be missed - Honest.

My first thought was that I had accidentally deleted it myself in my usual state of confusion, until I saw the saw the dreaded rules reminder. My problem now is I can't remember what I wrote. 🙄

Sorry to hear your poems are being chopped , time for you to vet them before you post . Trust you are well as I had not seen you for a while out of action from radiotherpy. Are you enjoyingthe weather up your way or is it stormy up there ? Its mighty warm here need plenty of suntan oil and a hat. Take care xx

A minor hiccup Katie, I haven’t been writing much lately but I have been reading everything and know you have now finished your radiotherapy just in time to enjoy the good weather. Unfortunately I have to avoid the sun because of my skin problems and the heat has me gasping for breath. But Smudge and I are getting along fine. I usually choose my words very carefully but I must have overstepped the mark at some point. So it’s the vet for both of us. Love Don & Smudge 🤡😺xx

There's something else we share Don sensitive skin I have to use factor 50 due to skin cancers. And this type of weather causes sun burn fairly easily. So on some days its enjoy from afar as I say. Rain coming soon that saves me a job tomorrow. Life goes on enjoy your evening. x

what did he say i couldnt get his preveious posts to download . thoght it was something I had done--- contrary to people not doing things to help .

just returned from noisy chat with local snow angels charity who run a 2 hr cafe for us oldies . thosa not mobile get picked up if enough volunteers . they give us lunch and they do work very hard to help those of us who live alone or need to meet other people.

oldest lady is 100 and the next 93. then there is the rest of us
