Good afternoon everyone, can I ask if anyone else suffers sometimes with the bottom part of the legs i.e. from the knee down sweating through the night? while trying to sleep in bed. I know from past when I have an acute exacerbation coming on, I seam to sweat all over as well as other things. But currently it's just the bottom part of my legs that are progressively sweating?
Thank you for all your comments in advance.
Regards
Joseph

Good morning Joseph. Perhaps ask your respiratory nurse if you have one. As to what might be causing the problem and she might decide to get you in to be checked over and hopefully get some answers. Hope you had a better night. Take care. Brian
As a lady I rarely perspire 👑 !Joking aside, it's almost true. Only on a very very hot day and wearing too many clothes. I do get this rare thing where I do perspire although if I'm late eating, I get a wave of weakness, legs feel like jelly and a wave of perspiration from neck to scalp. I'm sure it's to with blood sugar plummet although GPs have been dismissive for over ten years.
I can only suggest you seek advice from the gp (if you can), there's obviously something amiss so I do hope you find out what it means. P
Hello Joseph. I have never heard about legs specifically sweating during sleep but in general any excessive sweating during sleep should be taken seriously. I would suggest talking to your doctor. Although some common causes in men could be testosterone levels, sleep apnea, medications, stress or infections.
