Hi I was diagnosed with dysfunctional breathing & mild COPD earlier this year after X-ray & Lung Function tests. It was caused by high anxiety which I have been experiencing for quite sometime. I was referred to chest physio which I found helpful. I have had to do breathing excercises everyday & a course of CBT.I am feeling so much better now & back to my usual walking although at slower pace & hills still leave me breathless but not gasping for breath. I also do yoga a few times a week. It does however take a few months to getting it all under control. I have found this forum & Asthma & Lung UK extremely helpful & provides a lot of support. Hope this helps. Jane

Not experienced this Colby, how is it affecting you and have you had any advice from the doctor? I have had around 10 days of a night cough that is making me breathless and sweaty. Because my heart didnt feel right this morning I looked at my oximeter which had a reading of 115/83, it has now changed to 95/84 so am not rushing to the hospital but will phone the gp tomorrow. I am not sure if its the weather my ticker or oxgen levels are askew but something is bothering me x
