Although live in mainly built up area, regularly get foxes who eat seed thrown out of feeders by birds. One of my neighbours garden is very overgrown and foxes live there. My cat Morrison sometimes doesn’t eat all his food, so throw that out for foxes. Think one in picture has got cub feeding off her.

Beautiful photo, bless them I think these are beautiful animals. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden and the fox. Have a lovely day and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx 🌻🌻💖
Used to get them regularly in my garden, some very big, until my neighbour replaced a damaged fence which stopped them getting in from nearby farmland. You have a pretty garden Jean. What is the white thing under the bird table?
Someone was quick with the camera, they don’t hang about when they’ve spotted. Makes a nice picture.
Thanks was sat in my chair, photo with iPad.
We get foxes here too, they seem to be in lots of areas. I like them but it’s a shame their natural habitat has been taken away. Poor things. Still I suppose they get fed by some. Enjoy your weekend Jean. Xxx💕
I love your garden Morrison, is it you who maintains it or do you have help? I love gardening but find it difficult these days, i have a nice man who cuts the hedges and my daughter helps with the lawns. I have been potting up plants today but am tired so have come indoors for a break. The weather will be changeable next week so I'm trying to make hay while the sun shines.P.s. How exciting being able to watch the foxes.
Thanks for complement , I haven’t been able to mow lawns for few years, got someone who does them. I have done most of other gardening until this year, because I’ve had so long on strong antibiotics have been weak, and wind getting into lungs has made me worse, my daughter does bit, and I employ lady to do some. Today whilst it’s warm and not windy, done bit in between other domestics and Nebulising which have to do twice daily, takes hour each time then have to sterilise mask etc, followed by postural drainage. Have plants over wintered in enclosed Veranda, waiting to make sure no more frosts before putting out, although some not good because of lack of TLC whilst I’ve been ill. Glad you’re managing to pot up etc. Yes it’s nice to see foxes, give them food my cat Morrison hasn’t eaten, plus other left overs.
I'm sorry Jean, but my eyesight is poor, so unable to make out the fox but I do admire your garden, it really is lovely. I'm sure you must love to potter in it, when you can find time between the nebs and postural drainage!! Your day must be full. Enjoy the warmer weather xxx 😊
So sorry you can’t see fox, it’s at top of V formed by clothes props. Thanks for your kind words about my garden, yes it’s difficult finding time to do much out there. It’s evolved since moved into it as new build in 1958. In those days new houses didn’t come with lawns etc, just heaps of soil in some places, plus all sand, cement rubbish left by builders. Yes enjoying warmer weather Jean xxx
Thanks, yes my day is very full and long. I still wake early as did when worked, and often to bed bit late, waiting for Morrison to appear! At least when Nebulising can sit and rest. Best regards, Jean xxx
If you hold one finger on the picture and pull out with a finger on your other hand it will expand the view so you can see better x
Ah, yes, thank you for reminding me Irene. I normally do my interactions on my computer, which allows me larger print with large screen. But do realise that on my tablet I can bring image larger, just hadn't thought of going onto tablet!! Just get bogged down and mind not working!! I can see the fox, now. Many thanks for giving me the nudge😊
Hope you didnt think I was being rude for pointing this out. I tend to use my tablet for most things and for this reason and sometimes feel like Mr Macgoo ha!
Not at all, it just didn't enter my head, so your prompt was very timely, thank you again. Who is Mr Macgoo, A Scottish google 😀
He was a cartoon character that had bad eyesight and remember him from when i was young x
Nice garden & love the fox. I get them in my garden from time to time as I have bird feeders too 🙂
That’s a lovely garden you have there , Jean. I bet Morrison cat loves being out there😊 That’s a beautiful fox, too. I also give them the leftover cat food from my fussy lot - it seems a sin to throw it away and it certainly all gets hoovered up! Thank you for sharing your picture x
Ah! there he is in the corner, we have foxes that live around my local train station and are not bothered if you are waiting for the train, I have had to run out of the station because they wont give way and walk right upto you, have always moved as I am not sure if they will attack. Your garden is lovely, thank you for sharing x
We see lots of foxes in our garden but haven't had any dangerous ones. Normally, they are more scared of you and will back away. However, sometimes we get visits from more tame and friendly foxes who will stand close to you if you have something for them to eat. I always feel they know when a human isn't going to hurt them so feel more secure to stand close. Have never felt any need to fear foxes and have enjoyed seeing them.
Yes Jean, I've had a second look and have now spotted the fox. When my brother and I were kids, a country squire gifted a fox's tail to us and our mother chose to drape it over a mirror in our dining room!
Ha ha. If I remember rightly, it wasnt in my line of sight!
Lovely garden and photo. X
What a lovely picture 😻
