I really do absolutely adore this photo. The more I look at it, the more I fall in love with it. I’m hoping to start the painting this week, but was bored last night so decided to try something new inspired by it: a close friend is an avid reader and currently deserving of a special thank you, so I used acrylic paints on a wooden bookmark blank. I’ll varnish it and add a tassel in a couple of days, but will probably paint a few more different ones with how this one turned out. (Tap/click on it to see the whole thing)

Thank you, BB. I have to say, I’m actually really chuffed with it, and as per previous conversations, that doesn’t happen often. I haven’t worked with acrylics much before, but it definitely looks like I’ll be getting some practice now 😂

I was a little bit late yesterday getting home for Stan and he had shredded my letters from the postman managed to just piece them together that's a first for him doing that so he was a tad grumpy with me ...

They have their ways of letting us know...

I was only gone 3 hours prior to that he had been walked with his buddies had had lunch so you think a 13 year old would sleep noooooo 😂😂😂💜💜
