There has been quite a lot about this device recently. If you type AirPhysio into the search HealthUnlocked box, it will bring up previous posts and replies.
I have one which I started to use and then suddenly suffered from a pneumothorax and was rushed to hospital to have a drain inserted to release the air from my lungs. No idea if the device caused this but once home again I read the leaflet that came with the device and it said to not use if you had ever suffered from a pneumothorax so I have not used since. Was expensive to buy and now of no use to me at all. Hope this helps, Best wishes Ruth
I thought it sounded good but my COPD nurse said that it would not help me as I do not have the lung capacity to make it work. Saved me money and I think anyone should ask before purchasing!
I asked my GP when he rang with my blood test results and he said couldn’t say not to buy it to try, but really didn’t feel it would make things any better in my case, and definitely currently unavailable on NHS despite the good reviews.
Talk about sit on the fence.
Good luck!!
