As far as I know using an inhaler doesn't affect you. For good measure I always rinse and gargle before inhaling as well as after using it. Rinsing before is only me being thorough just in case there are any food particles I dont want to breathe in to my lungs and to wet my throat so medication doesn't stick. Rinsing afterwards is to avoid getting oral thrush which occasionally some people get. Very important to always read the leaflets and pharmacist's label with new medications. Also there are usually YouTube clips showing demonstrations of your inhaler - its very important to use them correctly. P
