Bunged up!
Hi, I get this that at night so now I have a fan at the side of my bed, since doing this I have a better night's sleep. Hope this helps have a good day and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxx
I understand I have the same issues I "sleep" with a kitchen roll on the bedside cupboard ready to get rid of the eventual rubbish. I then get up and make a cup of tea and fall aseep in the chair sometimes with hot tea decending where it shoud not.
I have had so many years of this I sometimes wonder why I am still around.
I know people will say tea is not the best thing to drink at night but as we go life, nearly 80 now and diagnosed with bronchiectasis of the left lower lobes at the age of fifteen.
Either someone is watching over me or I have been very lucky.
Best wishes keep safeStan
I use Sterimar, a nasal wash twice a day. If I am bunged up before going to bed I use menthol crystals in hot water with a towel over my head, or you could use something like Beconase nasal spray. Speak with your doctor he could prescribe a steroid spray. Good luck x
I get the same thing. I’ve started sleeping almost sitting up and my head tends to roll forwards. My mouth doesn’t open as much in this position.
I also have a fan by my bed and sips of cold water, to deal with the dryness. An ild nurse said it’s easy to get thrush in the mouth through the dryness . She suggested apiece of tinned pineapple as it’s really refreshing and counteracts the thrush. I have a piece by my bed..
Good luck - if only an instant solution.
