Hi everyone

I'm happy to be here with you so I can express what I've been trough ..so a month before my father was having GI symptoms (vomiting. Fever Diarrhea..nausea..tiredness. ) he was so tired from that.. the doctor prescribed him an antibiotic 2 days and the gi symptoms faded away but some days after he started to developing some shortness of breath ..fever ...tiredness I was so worried about his dyspnea so Ive called his doctor again and insisted on his respiratory symptoms (dyspnea) he asked me if I can do him an x ray so I did and there was the choke his lungs were almostly inflamed with pneumonia so he did him a CT scan and it was severe 75%of his lungs were inflamed didn't show the ground glass opacities but the radiologist says they can appear in 10 days I didn't wait ..so I took him to the hospital he was in a very low state where his oxygen level s dropped to 83 he was admitted to the icu unit ... spend 7days there with a protocol (hydroxychloroquine ..corticosteroids..antibiotics)and oxygen then transfered him to a normal unit for another week until his oxygen level's back to normal it's Been 3 weeks since he was discharged he still suffer from tiredness some shortness of breath whenever doing a hard effort ... I just want to ask you guys if some of you passed by a similar experience ?how was it ?

Someone I know of is experiencing shortness of breath with very little exertion and severe muscle pain all over for 5 months since he had covid in March.

I have breathlessness with minimal exertion, back pains and fatigue, in that order of severity. I was infected with Covid-19 in the middle of April. It has been a very slow recovery with it slowing even further as time goes past.

Indeed.... yes the doctors insured me that it will take time to get back to normal the funny thing is that my father's test came back negative ...the dr said when it's severe the infection is localised in the lung so that's maybe the reason ...in the othere hand we should never neglect gi symptoms

... I hope you get well soon thank you
