I don't know much about hypersensitivity pneumonitis when were you first diagnosed?

I hope someone else who can identify with what your are experience chat here with you.

My diagnosis is emphysema, it was pneumonia that resulted in the addition of bronchiectasis as well as diabetes type 2.

That's the trouble with lung issues, everything is fine when they are stable and when they are not you sure do know about it.

I was stable for 10 years then I got pneumonia which lead to other things and took me 7 months to recover, but stable again at this time. I think shielding is a sure way to avoid the bugs which in turn helps keep us stable.

I hope things settle down again for you soon.

Hi, Have just seen your post so thought I’d say hello. I’ve had Chronic Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis since 2013, although I think I had it for 3-4 years before. Mainly stable from taking Prednisolone and Mycophenalate . Then decline started last year. Started oxygen in April and I’m now on lung transplant list.

Just thought U would say hello
