Hayfever
Hi Alice.
Yes, more so this year I think. I take Loratadine, beconase nasal spray and opticrom eye drops. All available over the counter. There are stronger prescription only antihistamines. Nearly forgot, I also take Montelukast.
Yes I have yet hayfever this year I get my prescription from the GP, I take Cetrizine Hydrochloride 10mg. Have a lovely day and take care of yourself 😊 Bernadette xx xx 🌈
Yes, its been a problem, I think next couple of day is going to be high, I have been prescribed same as Bernadette, but I have switched to the one Troilus uses because I find I can function normally on Loratadine. Although I think cetirizine works better it could well be because I can't stay awake to notice symptoms
Same here with cetirizine
Hi Alice, Yes, I agree. I have never had hayfever as bad as this year. It has affected my nose, eyes and I'm sneezing constantly. I started taking loratadine in early March. I also use a nasal spray, Nasofan twice a day and some eye drops to stop them itching. I can honestly say this year has been particularly uncomfortable and friends of mine say the same.
😀😢
Yes, my hayfever is worse than usual this year. Air Alert text keep warning me about increased ozone levels so don't know if that may be responsible.
I am taking Cetirizine every day at the moment. Woke up in the night coughing like mad and had to use my ventolin twice over night. This is unusual for me. Nose keeps running - can't go anywhere without a tissue - getting through boxes of them! Happy days! Lol!!!
xx Moy
Hope that you are feeling better now the rain has replaced the very hot weather
Yes am nebulising more at night ,prednisolone increases ,also taking montelucast ,cetirizine and nasal spray.
Think this year is somewhat worse than other years.
Stay safe
