Should I be concerned about the various carers who attend to my personal care. They are not well paid and would lose money if they did not turn out. But what if they do not feel well? Where does that mean for me

This is such a difficult question. Think you’ll have to weigh up the pros and cons carefully. Presumably if they attend to your personal care you need them to come as it would be difficult to manage without them.

Take care

Hi siestasue, this is the same worry that I have. My husband needs 2 carers 4 times a day. They come from a pool of 8 carers in the community care company. Initially I was told we would be given one live in carer to stay with us full time once the virus comes close. This quickly changed to no carers from the company if one of us gets the virus nor anyone staying with us. If I get ill, I have emphysema, I am to call 111 and they will tell me what to do. If it’s necessary for me to go to hospital then a fully suited carer will look after my husband. I’m very very anxious about all these people coming into our home every day but there is nothing I can do other than ask them to use hand gel before they come in the house. Worrying times for many of us.
