Firstly, Happy New Year to everyone, hope it’s as good as it can be for us all.

I’m curious to know if anyone with severe COPD uses a humidifier, and do they help ? Thank you.

Happy New year to you, sorry I can't answer your question but I'm sure someone will be along soon who can. Have a good night and take care of yourself 😊 Bernadette xx

Hello there

I have ILD including COP. I have a Dyson dehumidifier/fan and use it when it is hot throughout the night. This helps my breathing. Also when you’re in bed sleep upright. This opens the lungs. I hope this helps.

Cheers

Dee

As to your question, I use a small dehumidifier in my bedroom at night, I think it helps me sleep better,

Whether that's in my head or not I don't know but I'd rather have it that not.

I think it's worth trying though.

You can get a small one for under £30.

I use a dehumidifier rather than a humidifier in my bedroom as it can get so damp in there at times, mould can start to grow on my clothes.

I have the Dyson Pure Cool Me and since using it next to my bed at night I have been able to sleep without the constant coughing and get a good nights sleep. A lot of money but worth every penny to me

My "Air Purifier" is called "Breathe Easy" Table Top. I have it in the Bedroom, it is on 24 hours, It works for me, along with an Aloe Vera Plant, Even though I sleep with Oxygen on, I feel the Difference with The Purifier. xxx
