New symptom maybe?

Hi I was wondering if anyone with Bronchiectasis and ILD have periods of excessive sweating, feeling light headed and shaking. I wonder if this could be a sign of progression of the illnesses. Any comments would be greatly appreciated

I don’t have Bronchiectasis or ILD but get that way from using Ventolin. I also sweat a lot when I am taking steroids.

Me too! I used to use ventolin daily with no apparent side effects other than terrible cramps. Last year I started to feel like I had the worst fever after taking it, shaking, feeling light headed and sweating. Now I'm afraid to use it. (Which I'm sure sounds overly dramatic) Someone (2greys I think) mentioned an alternative to ventolin which I can't remember the name of, but when I next see the doctor I'll ask if I can try it.

I too think that it is being caused by one of your meds, there are so many side effects, even ones not listed in their leaflets. Ask your GP or even your Pharmacist about this.

Could it be an infection? When I’ve got a nasty infection, I tend to shake and sweat more. Maybe get checked out?

maximum use of ventolin causes shakes and cramps I found.

But the sweating, shakes and light headed, sounds like flu symptoms to me, sure hope its not.

Hope these symptoms pass, take good care.
