Your post reminded me that I sent some Chincherinchees to my aunt years ago, I just checked and you can get the bulbs in the UK, so hopefully I will plant them for next summer

I did have a Clivia many years ago kept it indoors for a few years, not easy to look after as you can not give it much water , have to turn the pot regularly, it likes to be potbound. the flowers are a joy to look at. so much easier in your climate i would imagine.
