My dad and me

I just want to thank everyone who responded about my dad's pneumonia and his COPD. He seems to be doing better for now.he couldn't get out of bed and he could barely talk and had no appetite but now he's using a walker and eating. I take it one day at a time and keep my fingers crossed everyday.it's hard to see my dad struggle with every breath he takes he has COPD stage 4 it scares the hell out of me because I have COPD except I'm far from where my father is but it still scares me. Truth be told I never have any problems.I can run I can swim I can cut the lawn when it's 95 degrees outside and it doesn't bother me. The only thing that ever bothers me is doing too much cannabutter. Why this happens I do not know I can't figure it out for the life of me.if I do it once or I do it twice or even three times I feel fine if I overdo it I start to have slight problems and sometimes it takes me a week and a half to start to feel normal again.I'm going to have to go maybe once every two months just so I can have some relaxation and ease my mind then it never bothers me only when I overdo it.if anybody has any idea why overdoing ediibles would bother my COPD please let me know I have researched this at nauseam. Again if I do it once or twice I feel nothing if I overdo it starts to bother me I had another health problem I was very worried about and I must have did it about 10 times and it took 4 days after I stopped doing it for me to start feeling something it's really weird thanks again for the thoughts about my dad I take it day by day as I said peace

Good to hear from you hope and pleased to hear your dad’s doing better. Please take care of yourself too and try not to overdo things.

Wishing you well and your dad too. Xxxx

Glad your dad's improving. Well done for identifying when you get an exacerbation, as that helps you avoid them in future.

It's not an exacerbation I never get an exacerbation I don't even use an inhaler 99.9 percent of the time they gave me a small inhaler that supposed to last 3 weeks I have it over a year.it's just that something doesn't feel right if I overdo edibles and I don't know why like I said if I do it two or three times I feel absolutely nothing if I do it 10 times that's when I start to feel something and I can't find out why and I can't find any information as to why so I'm just going to have to do it once or twice every couple months it is what it is. I just cut the lawn it's 95 degrees outside and I feel fine so it's weird how I can cut the lawn and swim and do whatever I want and nothing happens but overdue edibles and I feel something what are you going to do it is what it is thanks for responding take care bye
