Hubby gets pension I can not work so on a fix amount income
I have bought a oxygen concentrator it only cost 300 so it's fixed oxygen of 3l I do need one than can change the amount as need to be able to use on battery as cant walk far outside but think could use a lower oxygen level for nights now keep waking cant breath
The other thing is a electric bed I have one of the deckchairs things from hospital but it does not look like I will ever be flat in bed again to use this I am at one end and hubby at the other as he hits the metal sides so it would be nice to be next to him in bed again
For good news after 7 month had drain takeout of lunv last week but need xray as the fluid might come back
First it was the cancer then it was my heart but now they say no idea why or how I had the fluid in lung thought when fluid was gone be back to normal but no fluid done damage so my baseline is now lower for the emphysema
Doctors take one look at me and say cant do anything go hospital
Copd nurse say do not want to see me again go hospital
So just left to get on with it on my own and it sucks

Your best bet is to give the BLF a call 03000 030555 Mon-Fri between 9am & 5pm. They have a benefits advisor who'll know the latest rules. Good luck, P
My gp’s said that about my dad and he’s care WELL it’s so easy for community care organisations to shirk responseabilty these days
I would phone 📞 or email Quality Care Commission complaining about community care YOUR not getting THATs both of you and would mention copd nurses and doctor TELL them the always shirking responsoabilty when both your conditions could be managed better in community.
Your life’s are being made miserable and put at risk by there lack of community care
This too much of this go’s on and it makes it harder so FOR next person if don’t raise your head from parapet.
Make list befoure you call Quality Care Commission and use say stuff have mentioned here.
