Hi, if you type in salt pipes into the search box on the top right hand of this site, and then tick the filter for BLF only ....you will find some relevant posts.

I use one when I have a cold, to help chase the bugs away.

I also use one when I get a cold. If not using regularly be sure to keep the salt dry otherwise it is of no use.
